Fighting for Access…Fighting for You

Advocacy to Advance Healthcare: Rooted in Community Experience

Our advocacy is rooted in the real experiences of the families we serve and the therapists delivering care every day. What we advocate for reflects what we see on the ground: access gaps, workforce challenges, and the need for sustainable, high-quality therapy services across the lifespan. This work is an extension of our vision for maximal independence, ensuring patients have access to care delivered by therapists who are supported, empowered, and passionate about the work they do.

Real lives. Real stories.

These stories reflect why advocacy matters,  because policy decisions shape real lives, access to care, and the experiences of those delivering and receiving services.

Strengthened Through Community Collaboration

Our advocacy is strengthened through collaboration with the broader therapy community. As founding members of the Nevada Therapy Alliance—an innovative effort bringing together occupational, physical, and speech therapy associations—we are helping elevate a unified clinical voice focused on access to care and workforce sustainability. Our leadership is also engaged in statewide conversations supported by the Governor’s Council and advisory forums that inform Medicaid policy, ensuring real-world clinical experience is represented in decisions that impact families and providers across Nevada.

Advocacy in Action

This work helps ensure therapists have a voice and communities have access to care they can rely on.
