Having a relative with Down’s syndrome and all of the positive personal experiences has played a significant role in shaping Casey’s professional ventures, instilling a passion and sense of direction for therapy from an early age.  Casey graduated with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiological Sciences from UNLV and furthered her education, enhancing her passion for working with under-serviced populations, in graduate school at Touro University Nevada. Throughout graduate school, Casey worked with a variety of cultures and communities from developmental disabilities, mental health and substance abuse, human trafficking victims, and older adults, later graduating with a Master’s Degree of Science in Occupational Therapy.

Since graduating, Casey has enjoyed operating with Special Olympics of Southern Nevada to create community partnership programs and bridge the Las Vegas community for more cohesive services for individuals with disabilities.  She volunteered as the occupational therapist and blossomed into the Co-Coordinator for the Las Vegas Learning Program, servicing children with Down’s syndrome. These experiences paved the way for her to serve as a board member for The Garden Foundation to assist individuals blossom into adulthood. Additionally, she has loved volunteering for Joy Prom, Purple W.I.N.G.S., Susan G. Komen, Little Miss Hannah, and The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Her professional practice has included rehabilitation of older adults in the skilled nursing facility setting and meeting acute care needs at Centennial Hills Hospital. This is where she truly fell in love with the interdisciplinary team model of holistic care. For most of her career, she has been contracted as a pediatric occupational therapist to service children and young adults with special needs and mental health diagnoses in their natural environments to maximize their potential.

Throughout her time with Tilton's Therapy for Tots, Casey's followed her professional passion for occupational engagement to enhance the independence and wellness of their pediatric clients. She's advocated for more services for those that are under-insured and to increase access to care for individuals with mental health disorders. Her professional practice experience treating the adult population has supported the launch of Tilton's Therapy to serve individuals of all ages. Most recently, she has spent time investing in the team to build more leaders and grow the organization as she navigated the roles of Director of Rehabilitation followed by Chief Operating Officer. In the newest area of her career, Casey completed the Emerging Leaders Program through the Small Business Association and is an alumnus of the Interise Streetwise 'MBA', propelling her into her newest role of Chief Executive Officer. She is thrilled to see the unlimited potential of the organization come to fruition and help the amazing team of therapists at Tilton's provides their life-changing services to as many clients in the community that would benefit.
