Jaylin is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with a passion for helping children and families feel supported, understood, and successful in their everyday lives. Her background in healthcare began in medical assisting before she found her way to occupational therapy, where she discovered a career that truly aligned with her interest in mental health, whole-person care, and meaningful participation.
Jaylin says she likes to consider herself a “messy therapist” because she loves sensory-based play! “Whether we’re getting our hands into something squishy, sticky, colorful, or a little chaotic with movement, I believe sensory experiences can be incredibly valuable in helping children regulate their bodies, engage in tasks, and build the skills they need to be successful,” she says. Jaylin loves creating sessions where kids can play, explore, and have fun while still working toward meaningful goals.
Outside of being a COTA, Jaylin is a mom of three and loves spending time with her family. She enjoys traveling, trying new foods, exploring local markets and shops, baking, photography, being outdoors, and especially being near the water. Originally, Jaylin is from Hawaii and has called Las Vegas home for most of her life. She tries to bring that same sense of fun, creativity, and connection into the work she does with every child and family she meets.
