Katie is from Chicago originally, and she loves being able to help people be the best versions of themselves in and out of work! When she am not working, she enjoys art, travel, coffee and tea, and books.

Since 2023, Katie has worked as an occupational therapist, building on a healthcare career that began in 2017. Even during her time in school, she mentored younger students and children, reflecting an early dedication to supporting others.

Her inspiration for entering occupational therapy came from a desire to stand at the intersection of creativity and healing. Although art school was once a strong interest, she chose a profession that allowed her to help people improve themselves more directly.

What Katie values most about occupational therapy is its individualized and customizable nature, which allows treatment to be tailored uniquely to each client’s needs. Over the years, she has worked in both outpatient and skilled nursing settings, developing specialties in mental health, hand therapy, and supporting individuals with ADHD and ASD.

In addition to clinical practice, Katie has contributed to the growth of the profession by mentoring students, speaking to prospective occupational therapists, offering tutoring for OT school preparation, and supporting the advancement of emerging areas of practice.

Outside of work, Katie values balance and enjoys reading with the book club she runs, dancing, and traveling. Originally from Chicago, she has lived in Las Vegas since 2019 and appreciates the city’s proximity to many other beautiful destinations.

Her passions extend into education, travel, dance, time with loved ones, and helping others in any way she can.
