We’re seeking a Patient Services Specialist to join our dynamic administrative team to play a crucial role in supporting therapists while ensuring patients receive the care they deserve.

What You’ll Do:
Manage confidential patient information in line with HIPAA regulations.
Review billing submissions for accuracy and compliance, ensuring smooth operations.
Submit and track authorization requests for therapists and follow up with insurance companies as needed.
Review clinical documentation to ensure completeness and compliance.
Support therapists by reviewing payroll, sending visit receipts, and maintaining up-to-date caseload reports.
Handle discharge summaries, transfer notes, and other essential records.
Participate in new therapist orientation and help integrate new team members.
Perform utilization management chart reviews and update master client lists and diagnosis codes.
Perform other tasks as needed to support patient care and administrative excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma required; additional education a plus.
2+ years of experience in a medical office environment preferred.
General knowledge of therapy services (Occupational, Physical, Speech Therapy) and commercial/federal insurance.
Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly, compassionately, and professionally to diverse audiences.
Metrics You’ll Own:
Audit daily billing for each therapist by 10:00 AM PST.
Process authorization requests within 48 hours and follow up on pending submissions.
Ensure therapists’ notes and signatures are complete and provide missing items within 48 hours of pay period end.
Notify Accounting and HR when payroll is ready for processing.
Prepare monthly utilization management chart reviews.
Complete archiving tasks within one week of discharge notices.

Please note this is a REMOTE POSITION for NEVADA RESIDENTS ONLY. While our team functions remotely, there will be occasional in-person meetings with required attendance.
You are expected to complete your work day within the hours of 6AM and 6PM PST Monday through Friday. This role includes mandatory meetings on Tuesdays at 7:30 AM and Tuesdays at 11:00 AM, as well as required attendance at orientation sessions when scheduled.
