Team Feature: Laura Howard, SLP

This month, we are featuring one of our excellent Speech-Language Pathologists, Laura Howard.

Laura joined the Tilton’s Therapy team in 2021, lending her skill and expertise in Speech-Language Pathology for patients in the Southern Nevada region. Beginning her education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Laura earned a Bachelor of Spanish and Communication Disorders. As she continued forward pursuing higher education, Laura earned a Master’s in Speech Pathology with a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist certification from San Diego State University. Laura has continued to work in this field and has been in a similar position for over 20 years.

Over the course of her career, Laura has gained experience working in many different types of settings. These include working in nursing homes, hospitals, as well as charter and public school settings. Laura also is experienced working with private practices and through telehealth.

For over 15 years, Laura has lived in Las Vegas, NV but comes from Minnesota originally. In her spare time, she enjoys engaging in arts and crafts, playing sports, and of course, spending some quality time with her dog. Laura is passionate about working with people, and that is a major part of pursuing her career in Speech-Language Pathology.
