Team Feature: Tina Walker

This month, we are highlighting one of our amazing team members, Tina Walker!

Beginning in January 2020, Tina joined the administration team part time. Once the adult market in Southern Nevada and the Northern Nevada market began to grow, Tina took on a full time role with Tilton’s Therapy. The aspect she enjoys most about her job is the flexibility and the ability to work from home. 

Previously, Tina worked in the administrative field for two decades, mainly in accounting departments. Tina’s most recent job was working for 13 years as an accounting technician with her local park district. When asked what achievement she feels most proud of, Tina said, 

“Although it’s not a professional achievement, I am most proud of being a Mom to two very kindhearted and giving young adults.”

Tina believes that being a team player best exemplifies the core company values at Tilton’s Therapy. She expressed that the team mentality means working together for the benefit of the patient. Although Tina loves being a “home body,” she believes that it is important to get together with others to help you grow and learn. Socializing can present challenges for Tina, as she mentioned she can sometimes get stuck in her routine and forgets the importance of social bonds.

Originally from Jamestown, ND, Tina moved several times after getting married. She lived for several years in Phoenix, Seattle, and Las Vegas. After living in these cities, she eventually returned to her home state of North Dakota where she presently lives in Bismarck. 

In her spare time, Tina enjoys spending time on the water boating. She sometimes goes fishing, but mainly enjoys her view of the scenery while relaxing and reading. Tina’s favorite professional sports to watch are football and baseball and she is passionate about spending time with her family.
