Therapist Feature: Julie Dendy, PT

This month our featured team member is physical therapist, Julie Dendy!

Julie earned a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Houston, TX. For the past 23 years, Julie has worked in many different locations throughout the course of her career, from Texas, to Iowa, to Oregon, and now, to Nevada — and she has enjoyed it all! She credits her life growing up as a competitive gymnast as her original inspiration behind following this career path. Julie has always loved movement and being active.

“Movement is life!”

The profession of physical therapy appeals to Julie because she loves helping people find a way to improve their quality of life with all the tools that physical therapy has to offer. Her experience ranges from acute care to inpatient or outpatient rehab. These experiences have given Julie a well-versed perspective on client treatment as she reflects on ways she has treated her clients in the past.

After growing up in her hometown of Neenah, Wisconsin, Julie loves the sunny weather and mild temperatures Las Vegas has to offer. After five years living in Las Vegas, Julie says “it is a beautiful place to live and in a great location” although she remains a PROUD Packer Backer. She and her husband David share two teenage children who are five months apart and keep her on her toes. As they are beginning to learn to drive, Julie can’t help but to feel nervous! Julie’s husband David works as a Presbyterian Pastor in Las Vegas and is described as a wonderful man with a great sense of humor and zest for life.

In her spare time, Julie enjoys spending time with her family as well as supporting their activities and professional pursuits — and of course Julie enjoys working out every day!

Thank you Julie for your dedication and hard work for our team and your clients! We appreciate all you do and look forward to all the wonderful work you will do in the future.
