Therapist Feature: Leslie McGannon, OT

We’re highlighting Occupational Therapist Leslie McGannon for this month’s featured team member!

Leslie was born in California and settled down in Colorado Springs, CO at six years old. In 1989, she graduated from Colorado State University and in 1994, moved to Las Vegas, NV. Leslie loves Las Vegas, and considers it to be her home.

For nearly 30 years, Leslie has worked as an Occupational Therapist. Her experience includes working with both adults and pediatric clients. She has extensive experience working in home health, skilled nursing facilities, and worked for the Clark Country School District for 17 years.

One thing Leslie loves is seeing her clients make progress through Occupational Therapy treatment to gain more independence in their life, especially in the home setting. Helping people get their independence back in all aspects of their daily lives is very rewarding for Leslie.

Leslie most appreciates that Occupational Therapy has an holistic approach with patient care. She enjoys helping people to be independent in the things they want to do in their everyday life.

In her free time, Leslie enjoys working out, lifting weights, running, hiking, traveling, and simply being outdoors.

Thanks for your many years of dedication to your profession, Leslie! We look forward to many more.
