Movement for Mental Health

Sometimes your mind can create barriers for you to accomplish goals and stay focused on what is needed in your life. Positive thinking is often a great tool and practice to have in place, but it is smart to have a method of using your body and physicality to aid mental health.

Movement is necessary for our bodies and minds to be healthy. All movement matters, so even if you are not running a marathon, and instead, going for a short walk, you can be proud of moving your body.

When you aren’t sure how to engage movement, use this fun movement cube! Print it out, fold, and glue tabs down to form the cube. Then, roll the dice to choose a way to move your body and contribute positively to your own mental health.
