Therapy Tune-Up: Chair Yoga

This form of yoga can be done while sitting in a chair. For those with limited mobility it can be easier and much more manageable. The practice of yoga can help us alleviate pain, improve circulation throughout our body, increase our overall balance and coordination, protect and strengthen joints, potentially lower blood pressure, and can be used as a coping tool to relax. Since this form of yoga is done while seated in a chair there is less risk for falling or injuring oneself.
