Therapy Tune-Up: Swimming for Strength

Some individuals with multiple sclerosis may find it difficult to exercise. Swimming is a great option due to its low impact on your joints, less intense resistance for muscles, and the ease of movement from your body’s buoyancy in water. In addition, exercise like this can improve emotions through the release of endorphins. Water also provides a sensory experience through its texture and includes a color which can be calming. Water therapy makes your heart and lungs grow stronger!

Track your progress and achievement on the habit tracker!
