Therapy Tune-Up: Guided Imagery for Arthritis

Learn how to reduce pain from arthritis through visualization and use your mind to help you overcome difficulties.

Pain can release stress hormones throughout your body which can cause additional damage. Guided imagery is a way to use a meditative practice to stop your body from releasing stress hormones. This practice also promotes our development in other areas such as auditory processing, executive functioning, as well as coping skills for depression or substance abuse.

Track your progress and achievement on the habit tracker!

Fill in one calm face for each day you spend 10 minutes engaging in guided imagery.
