Therapy Tune-Up: Make Something New in the Kitchen

Making a new dish offers so many options. Whether you follow a new recipe, bake a treat, or experiment with a new snack idea, making something new in the kitchen works on fine motor skills, visual motor skills, and language skills. It provides sensory exploration through different textures, smells, sights, sounds, and of course, taste. This activity also utilizes executive functioning skills, organizational skills, and socials skills to communicate and share with others.

Track your progress and achievement on the habit tracker!

Fill in one pot for each day you try making something new in the kitchen.
