Therapy Tune-Up: Water Aerobics

Practicing water aerobics is a great way to get exercise at any age. Walking from side to side creates resistance and helps strengthen muscles and joints. Treading water or using a pool noodle as a jump rope are other ideas for fun activity in the water. Use these exercises to target gross motor function, coordination, balance, heart health, mindfulness, reduces stress anxiety, and reduces pain or inflammation of joints.

Track your progress and achievement on the habit tracker!

Fill in one wave for each day you spend 10 minutes practicing water aerobics.
