Alyssa pronounces her name “Uh-l-eye-ssa” and not the usual “Uh-lih-ssa.” She was born and raised in the beautiful biggest little city of Reno. At the University of Nevada, Reno, Alyssa earned a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Science in 2018. She continued on to achieve her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington in 2022.

All of her previous work experience outside of this field has been related to helping others, such as a softball instructor, daycare assistant, or caretaker. After an experience shadowing a speech-language pathologist, Ashlend knew that it was a discipline she could see herself making into a career.

Itzel is originally from sunny San Diego, CA but has lived in Las Vegas, NV for over 10 years. She attended high school and college in Las Vegas before moving back to San Diego to begin working as an Instructional Assistant in Special Education.
